Presenting Oceans at the EMSEA 2016 Conference (Belfast, UK)

The European Marine Science Educators Association (EMSEA) has just celebrated its annual Conference, that this year has been held in Belfast (4-6 October). The event took place at Belfast's visitor centre of marine heritage, Titanic Belfast. It is located at the former shipyard where RMS Titanic was built!

The conference rooms available reproduce the halls of RMS Titanic, RMS Olympic and HMHS Britannic, the 3 sisters that were built there, although the most famous was the RMS Titanic for being the most luxurious. Yes, they haven't forgotten to put the clock at the top of the staircase!

S'Agulla has had the pleasure to present the Oceans project with a very good reception. We have also enjoyed learning about other European and American initiatives!
We would like to thank the Organisers for giving us the opportunity to present Oceans and to the attendees for making the EMSEA Conference a space of dialogue and collaboration!

And last but not least, we can't help ourselves from recommending an evening walk. On the ground you'll see outlined where the RMS Titanic and RMS Olympic were built!
