Second part of the campaign of awareness of the state of the sea bottom in Blanes (Spain)
TALK AND EXHIBITION
On the occasion of the Science Week we have started the second phase of the environmental awareness campaign Per Focs la mar també brilla! (During the Fireworks the sea also shines!).
From 14 - 21 November it is open to the public an exhibition at Blanes' library, based on the waste collected during the sea bottom clean-up performed last 31st July 2016.
The display consists of two posters and interactive games to draw awareness on the type of waste collected, its origin, time it will take to degrade, why should it worry us and what can we do about it.
Also today, 14 November, at 7:00 PM, at the Roberto Bolaño Hall of the same Library, we have given a talk reporting about the main conclusions of this initiative.
A free English edition of the materials is available at the Project's web page Per Focs la mar també brilla! >>
We would like to thank the Library of Blanes for their collaboration.
